Procurement Manager (Term Position)

Job Summary

Operationalize the inventory of all active vendor and supplier contracts, document centralized management processes, and develop baseline reporting for organizational spend. Assess existing agreements for renewal dates and pricing opportunities, then implement a contract renewal calendar to reduce missed negotiations. Identify and execute quick-win savings by eliminating duplicate vendors, consolidating purchases, and recovering unused licenses. Establish procurement policies, sourcing standards, and approval workflows while partnering with Finance, Legal, and Vendor Management to support supplier oversight and third-party risk activities. Prepare status reports and executive presentations on program maturity and governance milestones. This 12-month term position requires onsite presence with a hybrid schedule and reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Enterprise Risk & Vendor Management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Procurement, or a related field
  • Minimum five years of procurement, sourcing, contract management, supply chain, vendor management, or related experience
  • Ability to identify and execute cost savings and process improvement opportunities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret spend data and contract information
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
  • Experience with contract repositories, procurement systems, or vendor management platforms
  • Experience within financial services, banking, or credit unions
  • Position requires onsite presence with a hybrid work schedule
  • Occasional branch visits, as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience establishing procurement programs, processes, or governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience managing contract lifecycles and vendor negotiations
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract administration, and supplier management
  • Experience with contract repositories, procurement systems, or vendor management platforms preferred
  • Experience within financial services, banking, or credit unions preferred
