Job Summary
Procurement Manager leads and develops the purchasing team to ensure uninterrupted production flow and on-time shipments. Responsible for accurate purchasing methods and MRP data, maintaining optimal inventory levels, negotiating pricing and long-term agreements, and strengthening supplier performance. Drives supply chain resilience and cost reduction across a portfolio of electronic components, PCB assemblies, fabrications, and other materials. Collaborates cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Sourcing; analyzes part usage in the MRP system (Infor Syteline); implements Lean practices and standardized procurement processes; supports budgeting, forecasting, and continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience managing personnel
- Experience with contract manufacturers, electronic components, and manufacturing environments
- Experience with MRP systems (Infor Syteline)
- Knowledge of lean principles, inventory optimization, and cost reduction methodologies
- Microsoft Office and strong Excel
- Strong ability to set and communicate goals, coach, and develop staff
- Excellent cross-functional communication across Production, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Sourcing
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier-management skills with strategic thinking
- High accuracy and attention to detail in all areas
- Proficiency with ERP systems and data-driven decision making
- Ability to understand and execute multifaceted systems
- Preferred: experience with electronics manufacturing or complex assemblies; CPSM, CPIM, or PMP certifications
- Preferred: experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
- Location: On-site in Longmont, CO
- Base Compensation: $116,000 - $142,000; bonus eligibility
