Procurement Manager - Order-to-Installation

Job Summary
Lead a team of seven Project Managers and two Contract Specialists through the order-to-installation workflow, ensuring sales-file completion, custom order validation, manufacturer confirmation, and installation readiness. Establish operating standards, coach performance, and resolve critical escalations involving product discrepancies, supplier delays, or installation risks. Monitor sales-entry queues, change-order workloads, and open-order aging to rebalance capacity and prevent installation-day surprises. Partner with Sales, Remeasure, Installation, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to maintain material readiness and protect the installation schedule. Identify root causes of order errors and implement quality-control practices to reduce preventable corrections. This role supports Next Door & Window's mission to improve homeowner comfort and efficiency through high-quality window and door replacements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be local to Burr Ridge, Illinois
- Five or more years of relevant experience in order management, project coordination, customer operations, purchasing execution, production coordination, or building-products operations
- At least two years of experience leading, coaching, or formally supervising a team, ideally in an order-management, customer-operations, project-coordination, or similar execution-focused environment
- Demonstrated success managing high-volume, deadline-driven work while maintaining strong accuracy and communication
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, order-management, or project-management systems used in a residential remodeling or building-products environment
- Strong ability to analyze operational data, manage competing priorities, solve problems, and make sound decisions under time pressure
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience is also valued
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Remeasure, Installation, Customer Service, Warehouse, and supplier partners
- Advanced Excel or reporting capability
