Job Summary
Procurement Manager for Indirects at Deliveroo, based at the London HQ with a hybrid work model. Responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies to deliver cost savings, value, and operational efficiencies across a global scope. Lead supplier management and negotiations, conduct risk assessments, drive strategic sourcing (RFP/RFI), establish supplier KPIs/SLAs, and ensure contract lifecycle management. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Legal, and IT to align procurement activities with business objectives, support ESG and sustainability initiatives, and leverage digital procurement tools to optimize processes and reporting. The role involves contributing to an Exec-sponsored cost-out initiative and managing spend across multiple categories with a focus on indirect procurement; adoption of procurement technologies and data-driven decision-making to deliver ongoing cost savings and value.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of procurement experience with end-to-end processes across multiple categories
- Strategic mindset with ability to align procurement with business goals and drive cost savings and efficiencies
- Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills with a track record of improving supplier performance
- Proactive, outcome-driven approach with ability to anticipate challenges and drive results
- Risk management experience including supplier risk assessments and third-party risk mitigation
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Operations) to align procurement activities with business objectives
- Experience with procurement technologies (Coupa, Ariba, SAP) and digital procurement tools
- Data-driven decision-making with ability to analyse spend data and supplier performance to inform strategy
- Commercial acumen for managing complex contracts and ensuring contractual compliance
- Knowledge of ESG and sustainability practices in procurement

- MCIPS qualification or working towards it
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (e.g., startup or tech industry)
- Experience in managing multiple spend categories, including indirect procurement
- Degree qualified
