Job Summary
Conduct market and internal analysis to develop sourcing strategies and tactical plans for third-party goods and services in the IT Services category. Execute sourcing strategies by leveraging spend know-how, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management methodologies while establishing and leading the new Time & Materials procurement function for Digital & Technology. Develop content and automation to translate sourcing outcomes into automated buying channels, ensuring strict adherence to global procurement policies and governance standards throughout the full sourcing and contracting lifecycle. Collaborate with internal procurement teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into sourcing activities and improve the customer buying experience.
Required Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in business or a related discipline
- 5+ years procurement experience in strategic sourcing, category strategy building and strategic project execution with general contracting understanding and proficiency or relevant related commodity experience
- Experience in procurement systems and processes
- Knowledge and experience in the IT Services commodity area and awareness of adjacent commodities
- Skills in project management
- Fluency in English to a Business level
- Availability for in-person collaboration on average two days per week at Roche offices
