Job Summary
Procurement Manager overseeing procurement for multiple construction projects across residential and commercial builds; responsibilities include sourcing vendors and subcontractors, reading plans, creating procurement proposals and budgets, issuing RFPs/RFQs, bid leveling and negotiating, managing buyouts, purchasing materials, coordinating logistics, and ensuring alignment with project schedules. Preferred bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese).
Required Qualifications
- Procurement experience within residential or commercial construction is required
- Strong construction knowledge and understanding of subcontractor trades, scopes, materials, and sequencing is required
- Experience sourcing and coordinating construction trades, subcontractors, and vendors is required
- Experience purchasing construction materials and managing vendor relationships is required
- Ability to read construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Experience negotiating pricing, scope, and contracts with vendors and subcontractors
- Ability to independently manage procurement responsibilities without training in construction operations or trade coordination
- Background with a General Contractor or Developer preferred
- Project Managers or Assistant Project Managers with significant procurement and buyout experience are encouraged to apply
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Bilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) preferred
