Job Summary
Lead strategy development and execution for sourcing and delivering strategic raw materials at the Ashtabula Complex, including INEOS KOH and INEOS Tyssedal (Norway). Create value-generating procurement processes to establish a sustainable competitive advantage by managing bulk chartering for over $300 million in annual spend on titanium ore, chlorine, coal, calcined coke, and potash. Negotiate supply agreements, enhance supplier service levels, and align strategies with business plans while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize investments. Develop effective sourcing strategies for economic efficiency, supply assurance, and product quality, ensuring compliance with safety principles and process safety standards. Lead annual budget development for strategic raw material spend, provide spend outlooks to Finance, and communicate deviations to top management. Identify alternative sources of raw material supply and explore alternative logistics solutions to reduce costs and maintain working capital targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business applications
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement roles
- 5 years of globally traded feedstock and marine bulk shipping experience
- Recent experience in a materially similar, senior level position
- Demonstrated strong Operation, Finance and Strategic Planning knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years of contract/commercial experience
- Proven experience in global sourcing
- Proven experience in global logistics
- Proven experience in contract development and execution
- Proven negotiation skills
- Proven experience in market dynamics analysis
- Working knowledge of the global logistics market
- Working knowledge of shipping modes
- Working knowledge of legal requirements for supplier agreements
- Ability to demonstrate vision and insight in business
