Job Summary
Establish and implement short and long-term goals, strategic plans, and policies for the Division aligned with group leadership. Translate business objectives to category management teams, delivering on annual operating plan commitments for delivery, quality, cost, and innovation. Partner with business stakeholders, R&D, and Engineering to optimize quality, cycle time, and total cost of ownership while mitigating risk. Collect supplier capability requirements, drive compliance for indirect materials, and make or buy footprint decisions for product innovation projects. Consolidate and report on divisional procurement metrics for business reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise processes for supplier quality and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience related to procurement/sourcing management
- Proven and significant experience in ESI, NPI processes with third parties and outsourced development management
- Progressively responsible career path in manufacturing operations and procurement with significant practical experience in international settings
- Strong procurement and sourcing background
- Demonstrated understanding of operations
- Strong analytical skills and process focus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and unquestioned integrity and trust
- Excellent influence skills to impact change with peer roles and operations leaders throughout the division
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
- Preferred fields of study: Supply Chain/Materials Management, Business Logistics or a related area
- Results oriented, metrics driven leader with a root cause, permanent fix approach, continuous improvement approach
- Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment
- Ability to communicate effectively to empower global constituents to meet business objectives, and possess strong presentation skills at all levels of the organization
