Job Summary
Procurement Manager responsible for defining the purchasing roadmap across multiple spend categories (Tech SaaS/Infrastructure/Hardware/ Licensing, Professional Services & HR, Real Estate & Facilities, Marketing) and driving savings through advanced negotiations and strategic supplier relationships. The role partners with internal stakeholders to manage ad-hoc spends (>€25K) and significant contracts (0.5–5M), analyzes current and future spending, negotiates beyond standard practices, champions cost optimization while ensuring quality, and helps design and implement purchasing systems across Europe. The successful candidate will demonstrate cross-functional collaboration, a proven track record in supplier negotiations with European partners, and strong analytical capabilities to translate data into procurement decisions.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or management consulting with a focus on procurement
- strong negotiation knowledge and ability to apply advanced negotiations strategies
- strong analytical capabilities with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable procurement insights
- ability to support multiple annual spend cycles with examples of spend identified and savings achieved
- fluent spoken and written English; German is a plus
- good working knowledge of Google tools and Excel
