Job Summary
Oversee district and project procurement activities, including negotiating commercial terms with vendors and subcontractors while consulting legal and senior management. Manage vendor qualification processes, enforce procurement policies, and oversee Accounts Payable reconciliation and goods received records. Facilitate RFPs, collaborate with preconstruction teams, and monitor purchasing buyouts. Prepare analytics, reporting, deliverables, and correspondence as needed. Requires 5+ years in construction procurement, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards E1 World. Salary range $115,000–$120,000/year.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in construction procurement
- Skilled in contract negotiations and legal terminology
- Extensive knowledge of the construction industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Leadership and influencing skills
- Able to identify, track and communicate project plan steps and actions
- Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management or Engineering
