Procurement Manager

Manage and direct the procurement team's duties under the Project Controls Manager to plan, organize, and direct the buying of supplies, materials, equipment, and services. Establish goals, objectives, and performance standards while interpreting and applying policies, laws, and regulations pertaining to procurement. Analyze performance data to propose procedural changes, new methods, or automated systems that increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Determine purchasing needs, legal requirements, and product specifications, then review bids, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure appropriate documentation. Negotiate with vendors regarding prices, trade discounts, and deliveries while researching market conditions and new products. Develop standardized specifications for commodities used across several departments.
