Job Summary
Procurement Manager responsible for planning, directing, and optimizing purchasing activities to meet cost, quality, delivery, and reliability standards in a regulated medical device environment. Lead cross-functional sourcing strategies, develop and execute purchasing plans, evaluate and onboard suppliers, negotiate terms including long-term supply agreements, drive supplier performance management, implement procurement policies, analyze market conditions for cost savings, manage strategic supplier relationships, and lead a team of procurement professionals. Collaborate with Engineering and Quality for NPI and product lifecycle management, and leverage ERP systems (SAP) and analytics tools to drive data-based decision making and performance tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Experience operating in a regulated environment (medical device, pharma, or similar preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and issue resolution
- Strong analytical capabilities, including cost analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision making
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and procurement reporting tools
- Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- People leadership experience, including team development and performance management
