Job Summary
Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and purchasing practices that align with organizational goals while managing supplier relationships, contracts, and performance metrics including pricing, quality, and delivery. Negotiate and manage contracts with fleet management organizations and other key vendors, identify and onboard new suppliers, and lead cost savings initiatives to drive organizational adoption. Partner with business leaders to understand procurement requirements, monitor inventory levels, and execute large purchase orders overseeing fulfillment and delivery processes. Track procurement compliance across locations, prepare reports on vendor performance and cost analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions for procurement-related challenges. Participate in annual planning and budgeting to forecast major expenditures. This hybrid role involves periodic travel and supports continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment serving multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Six (6) or more years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related experience
- Experience managing vendor relationships, supplier negotiations, and procurement contracts
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, supply chain management, and purchasing processes
- Experience supporting multi-location organizations with diverse service offerings
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build effective relationships and serve as a trusted business partner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change
- Builder mindset with the ability to create and implement scalable procurement processes
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable recommendations
- Capability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Willingness to work in both strategic and tactical capacities as needed
- Ability to travel periodically to support business operations and supplier management activities
