Job Summary
Procurement Lead responsible for driving supplier performance and optimizing procurement processes through cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Key duties include enhancing supplier capabilities, managing sourcing projects, supporting strategic sourcing and pricing initiatives, and improving contract negotiations. The role also involves overseeing daily procurement operations, analyzing cost data, and facilitating supplier and business reviews. By building strong stakeholder relationships and leading process improvement efforts, this role contributes to unlocking commercial and financial value across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field or equivalent in business, supply chain or similar field of study
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably direct manufacturing
- E-Sourcing experience, specifically with reverse auctions
- Strong analytical skills and expert user at Microsoft Excel
- A strong business acumen
- Ability to work within a matrix management environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Process improvement skills
- Project Management Skills - Ability to organize and schedule people and tasks
- Highly organized and can multi-task
