Job Summary
Senior/Expert Procurement Field Representative (GFO) based in Everett, WA, supports the North America Northwest region by engaging and collaborating with the regional supplier base to ensure procurement objectives and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include monitoring emergent offload/overload suppliers, providing technical assistance in manufacturing planning and requirements interpretation, establishing delivery priorities, driving corrective actions and recovery plans, facilitating training on business and manufacturing practices, conducting on-site supplier assessments to evaluate capacity and capability, monitoring supplier health, coordinating with procurement, quality, engineering and manufacturing teams to report status, and identifying opportunities to implement process improvements (e.g., lean manufacturing, shop floor control). The role requires 100% onsite work in Everett, WA, and up to 50% travel domestically and internationally. Relocation assistance is not negotiable. Pay ranges are provided for Senior and Expert levels.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- 5+ years of experience in problem solving, root cause analysis, and/or corrective action
- Experience in a role that requires Industrial Engineering, Scheduling, Project and/or Program Management skills
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally, must hold or have the ability to hold a valid passport
- Must be able to work occasional off shift hours, including evening and weekend
