Job Summary
Procurement Engineer responsible for leading end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for engineering projects involving instrumentation, control systems, and mechanical/electrical components. Responsibilities include interpreting technical specifications, evaluating suppliers technically and commercially, negotiating terms, maintaining ISO 9000 controls, managing procurement for large projects, coordinating with Supply Chain for inventory and delivery schedules, supporting value engineering and cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards. Strong emphasis on collaboration with Engineering, Project, and Supply Chain teams, plus experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and a solid foundation in process instrumentation and automation technology.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related disciplines is preferred)
