Job Summary
Procurement Director to establish and lead a global Group Procurement function from inception, developing strategy, governance, and a category-management framework; lead supplier sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and performance metrics (PPV, rebates, OTIF) across product and logistics spend; partner with Product, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to deliver cost, quality, and service improvements; drive procurement transformation, governance, and data accuracy across regions; manage supplier master data and contract information in ERP systems; travel 20–30% for supplier reviews and leadership meetings; required: 10+ years of procurement leadership, strong negotiation skills, ERP proficiency, and a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) with experience in complex, multi-SKU environments (automotive/aftermarket advantageous).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years procurement experience including leadership of multi-site or global teams
- Proven record building and leading procurement structures and Logistics & Category strategies
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and contracting expertise
- Data-driven mindset; proficiency across ERP systems and procurement tools
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- CIPS or Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
- Background in complex, multi-SKU product environments; aftermarket or automotive experience advantageous
