Job Summary
Develop and implement strategic procurement policies aligned with organizational goals, overseeing the full lifecycle from sourcing and vendor selection to contract negotiations. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure compliance while identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing supplier relationships for timely delivery. Lead a high-performing team through coaching and development, monitor market trends and supplier performance to drive process improvements, and prepare performance metrics for senior leadership. Maintain deep knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements while leveraging procurement technologies to enhance data analysis and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven work experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar leadership role, preferably at the executive level
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and contracts
- Demonstrated experience in driving cost savings, optimizing procurement processes, and implementing procurement technologies
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong supplier relationships
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, conduct market analysis, and make data-driven decisions
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse procurement team
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in procurement practices
