Job Summary
Procurement Cost Engineering Specialist responsible for cost estimating, cost control, and cost reduction activities; develops target cost, prepares cost planning, assigns and monitors Value Analysis actions with R&D/CM/SE, builds RFQ formats and cost tables, and drives teardown cost analysis related to BOM cost of competitor products; requires a degree in engineering, English fluency, and 3-5 years of cost engineering or mechanical design experience; knowledge of SAP/PLM and advanced Excel/PowerPoint is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Engineering with a technological focus. Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
- Languages: Fluent English (written and verbal communication)
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in Cost Engineering activities or in R&D as a mechanical designer.
