Job Summary
Partner with commodity managers to ensure effective and efficient procurement activities, including coordinating queries, documentation, registers, and filing systems. Liaise with suppliers to assist in developing sound relationships, raise purchase order requests, and compile, publish, and analyze reports as needed. Maintain up-to-date data in systems and Excel, attend meetings to take minutes, and support the creation of department presentations. This onsite role in Torrance, CA requires a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4pm or 7am to 3:30pm. The position offers a starting pay range of $25-$30 per hour plus bonus, with benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, and a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs
- Team oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to multiple deadlines
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems
- Onsite role in Torrance, CA
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4pm or Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
