Job Summary
Plan and create Furniture, Fixture, and Equipment (FF&E) specifications. Assist with vendor list maintenance, prepare final requisitions, and identify sources for competitive pricing. Create installation directives, monitor assembly and installation at facilities (some weekends), and maintain files on ordered items. Reconcile vendor problems including billing disputes and warranty issues, while assisting clients in accessing warranty repair services. Work closely with program representatives to ensure equity and promote positive relationships with schools, departments, vendors, and the community. Monitor assembly and installation of furniture at facilities, some may occur on weekends. This role supports the procurement and installation functions for new and remodeled facilities within a program and Project Management firm.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Certification
- 40 credited college hours or 4 years of experience in school business, governmental accounting, construction management or combination thereof
- Possess a current valid state issued drivers and meet company's auto insurability requirements
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc
- Ability to effectively communicate information both written and oral and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
