Job Summary
JESS Procurement Associate within KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services supports the Client’s procurement function by facilitating negotiation and execution of procurement contracts (e.g., Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Speaker/Instructor Agreements). Responsibilities include leading complex supplier negotiations, handling contractual documents, contributing to category strategies, ensuring policy/compliance adherence, supporting supplier diversity, coordinating with legal to enforce critical terms, and building stakeholder relationships to drive procurement strategy. Requires an undergraduate degree in business or equivalent, at least three years of relevant experience, strong contract negotiation/relationship-building skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, hybrid Jamaica-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent Professional Accreditation
- Three or more years of relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of negotiating and mitigating contractual issues
- Advanced proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written / verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications

- Three or more years of relevant work experience

- Experience coordinating with legal, compliance and risk departments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Speaker Agreements, and Instructor Agreements
- Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract lifecycle
- Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and deliver results in a team-extension model
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong prioritization and time-management skills
- Demonstrated analytical, financial, problem-solving, and project-management skills
- Exposure to processing various contractual agreements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Jamaica
- Familiarity with supplier diversity and sustainability goals
- Knowledge of KPMG policies and standard contracting terms
