Job Summary
Procurement Associate responsible for supporting the procurement team in acquiring goods and services to operate efficiently, maintaining a cost-effective procurement process, and contributing to overall supply chain success. Requires working knowledge of procurement procedures, logistics, and inventory management; familiarity with feed mill operations; strong buying/negotiation skills; planning and analytical abilities; and strong interpersonal skills with a high sense of urgency and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years experience in procurement, preferably in mill operation
- Working knowledge in procurement procedures, logistics, and inventory management
- Knowledge in feed mill operations
- Buying and negotiation skills
- Planning, analysis, and good judgment skills
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills
- High sense of urgency
- Integrity and common sense
