Job Summary

Analyze purchasing and spend data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and sourcing strategies while developing and maintaining spend analysis reports by supplier, category, and department. Monitor procurement performance metrics, including purchase order cycle times, savings achieved, contract compliance, and supplier performance, and assist in developing procurement policies and key performance indicators. Support the ongoing maintenance, administration, and optimization of the ERP Supply Chain system, coordinating upgrades, enhancements, testing, and issue resolution with IT and vendors. Analyze inventory levels, stock movement, consumption patterns, and inventory turnover rates to support forecasting and demand planning activities, identifying opportunities to improve warehouse and logistics processes. Monitor contract utilization, expiry dates, and spending against agreements, while tracking vendor performance metrics including delivery performance, quality, and service levels. Collaborate with procurement staff, contract officers, logistics personnel, finance staff, and operational departments to respond to internal requests for procurement, inventory, and logistics information.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), including system support, maintenance, reporting, or related functionality
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or business operations within a computerized environment
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Monday-Friday 8AM - 4PM (EST), Excluding statutory holidays
  • Location: Hennick Humber Hospital, Wilson Site (Onsite)

Desired Qualifications

  • Procurement or inventory management certificates
  • 5 years of relevant experience analyst experience
  • Knowledge of medical products
  • Experience with project coordination
