Job Summary
Procurement Analyst responsible for managing purchasing and materials processes to ensure goods and services are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively. Analyzes procurement data to evaluate cost, quality, and delivery performance; maintains inventory data accuracy through audits and cycle counts; reviews procurement requests and creates purchase orders; reviews pricing catalogs and invoices for accuracy; conducts market research; negotiates supplier contracts; monitors supplier performance; prepares procurement reports including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics; collaborates with cross-functional teams and implements process improvements to streamline procurement workflows and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools required
- Experience using ERP systems in a procurement or materials management environment required
