Job Summary
Procurement Analyst role focusing on enabling Category Managers and PBU Buyers with effective execution of the Category Strategy by streamlining processes, driving automation, and performing analyses. Responsibilities include supporting Market Intelligence activities and economics measurements, improving supplier scorecards, managing Contract Lifecycle Management via Ariba, contributing to Business Continuity Plans through financial assessments and sustainability surveys, and maintaining a Master Supplier Contact list for GP Procurement, plus other procurement duties. The position is an entry-level opportunity for recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree and emphasis on reading/interpreting drawings for engineering-informed sub-categories, plus opportunities for learning and growth within Johnson Controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Engineering degrees preferred
- Prior experience in Procurement is a plus
- General understanding of RFQ process is a plus
- Strong MS Software skills – advanced excel (e.g. Arrays, INDEX/MATCH)
- Data Analytics
- SQL/HQL
- Power Automate/VBA or Python-pandas is a plus
- Business/conversational English is a must
