Job Summary
Develop and grow carrier relations by maintaining strong working relationships and resolving unique issues quickly to ensure customer satisfaction. Effectively communicate with internal and external carriers via email, phone, EDI, and web transactions while managing escalated service issues with high-level personnel. Address carrier questions regarding RFPs, package bid packages to source aggressive pricing, and conduct light negotiations on an as needed basis. Support Account Management Directors in cross-functional projects and streamline procurement processes within team goals. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business, proficiency in advanced Excel, and experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Salary is up to $55,000/year base plus bonus eligibility, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or any combination and experience, which would provide equivalent background
- Experience in carrier facing skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with web-based applications and Microsoft products including advanced Excel skills using VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
