Job Summary
Develop and grow carrier relations by maintaining strong working relationships and resolving unique issues quickly to ensure customer satisfaction. Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email, phone, EDI, and web transactions while managing all customer expectations and carrier KPIs. Address carrier questions regarding RFPs, package bid packages to source aggressive pricing, and conduct light negotiations on an as needed basis. Support innovative process development and manage escalated service issues with high-level personnel. Assist Account Management Directors and collaborate across departments on cross-functional projects. Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain required with proficiency in advanced Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or any combination and experience, which would provide equivalent background
- Experience in carrier facing skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with web-based applications and Microsoft products including advanced Excel skills using VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
