Job Summary
Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies for Information Systems, including IT hardware, services, and software, to reduce costs and mitigate risk. Lead Requests for Proposals and negotiate pricing with suppliers while managing contract development for agreements such as SaaS and Master Services Agreements. Process business requests to issue purchase orders and maintain relationships with business units and supplier partners for cross-enterprise process improvements. Execute negotiation strategies based on data analysis and manage ad hoc requests resulting in contracts or purchase orders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with indirect procurement sourcing
- Demonstrated experience in procurement principles and practices or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexities and successfully set priorities for meeting time-bound deliverables
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement procurement strategies
- Exceptional analytic, organization, presentation, and interpersonal skills with applied solid judgment and strategic thinking
- Strong collaboration, communication (written and verbal), and influencing skills
- Experience with Procure to Pay tools, including but not limited to Ariba
- Experience with procurement of software and related technology services
- Contract drafting and negotiation experience with suppliers
Desired Qualifications
- Masters or graduate degree in business, supply chain, or related field
- Automotive industry experience
