Job Summary
Procurement Analyst for bakery supply chain responsible for replenishment review of stocking levels, maintaining bakery material availability, and executing purchase orders in SAP. Acts as key liaison between bakeries and suppliers for direct materials, tracks confirmations, expedites shipments as needed, maintains web-based inventory planning sheets, and collaborates with operations to analyze and report differences between theoretical and real consumptions. Focuses on cost-saving opportunities, supplier relationships, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and packaging, while supporting new product introductions and promotional activity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or customer service
- Excellent interpersonal & problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, SAP, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate to solve issues
- Travel to plants may be required 5%
- Position will be based onsite at our East Pointe plant with some flexibility for remote work
