Job Summary
Manage multiple simultaneous complex sourcing files for newly acquired businesses, executing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle from RFI/RFP/RFQ processes through contract negotiation and execution. Coordinate supplier due diligence for non-standard contracts by working with legal counsel, information security, and cross-functional teams to ensure agreements align with TMX policies. Act as the primary liaison for Procurement, providing regular status updates to the Integration team and engaging end client stakeholders to report on critical external relationships. Identify high-impact cost reduction opportunities, optimize costs using the organization's buying power, and contribute to improved strategic sourcing strategies while maintaining accurate data in monthly and quarterly reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years previous experience managing activities across the end-to-end IT procurement lifecycle
- Demonstrated success in driving complex projects to completion through effective team leadership and delegation
- Good understanding of technology and technology contracts
- Agile and adaptive, embracing change, new ways of working, tools, and technologies
- Consistent performance in honoring commitments and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- Delivers client-first service, addressing inquiries promptly and with a high sense of urgency
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Builds and maintains key relationships to proactively gather input and drive engagement through effective communication and problem resolution
- Exceptional persuasion and negotiation abilities, coupled with strong stakeholder influence
- Keeps up to date on new industry trends and best practices
- Must be authorized to work in the country where this position is located
Desired Qualifications
- A legal background or formal legal training
