Job Summary
Procurement Advisor provides technical assistance, counseling and training to businesses pursuing government contracting opportunities through the NM APEX Accelerator program; assists with contract readiness, registrations, compliance with regulations, certifications, marketing strategies, pricing, and market research; develops and delivers training workshops; builds relationships with economic development and business groups; travels within New Mexico and occasionally outside NM; requires knowledge of government procurement processes and databases (SAM, FPDS) and regulations (FAR, defense FAR).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 5 years of job-related experience
