Job Summary
Doughnut Decorator / Processor at Krispy Kreme is responsible for processing, finishing, and packaging products according to brand standards to ensure high-quality, fresh, and visually appealing offerings. The role supports shop operations by maintaining product quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. Key duties include inspecting products for quality, applying fillings, icing, glazes, and toppings, packaging to standard, staging products on production screens, monitoring during Hot Light hours, restocking the front showcase, and maintaining waste logs. It also involves guest service contributions, upselling, conducting shop tours when requested, cross-training in retail and sanitation, assisting with various shop operations during peak periods, and maintaining a clean and safe processing area. Required skills include excellent organizational and communication abilities, basic mathematical and literacy skills, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. The work environment is fast-paced with variable schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, in a production and processing shop setting with exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals.
