Job Summary
Processor Technician PPP NA – troubleshoot and resolve molding process issues including material flow, temperature control, and cycle times; perform mold changes, setups, and adjustments to minimize downtime; operate injection molding (IM), injection blow molding (IBM), and injection stretch blow molding (ISBM) machines; conduct quality checks on molded products; monitor and adjust machine parameters; maintain 5S and safety; train personnel; read design sketches/drawings; provide input for continuous improvements; travel intermittently and maintain documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in Plastics/Automotive/Pharma Packing industries
- High School diploma preferred; college degree beneficial but not necessary
- Extensive knowledge of injection molding processes and related tooling
- Ability to read mold drawings and process sketches
- Capacity to lift up to 80 pounds independently (up to 200 pounds with team lift)
- Must be able to travel intermittently and possess or obtain a valid passport
- English language proficiency (read/write/speak)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- MATTEC knowledge a plus
- Ability to train others and write/repair work instructions
