Job Summary
Price and ticket wares, sort footwear and seasonal items, and test electrical/mechanical products for sale. Separate goods into categories, box salvage, and mark everything clearly before shipping or transporting to the sales floor. Assist with loading and unloading materials from the Goodwill truck and maintain general housekeeping and safety standards. Work within acceptable quality controls and perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor. This part-time role supports production quotas and deadlines while reflecting the high standards of integrity expected of all Goodwill associates.
Required Qualifications
- Must have good work habits, such as acceptable attitude and punctuality.
- Must respond appropriately to supervision.
- Must possess adequate physical endurance to work at industrial standards.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; push or pull.
- Must be able to occasionally sit, kneel, stoop, throw, turn and twist body.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
