Job Summary
Price and ticket wares, sort footwear and seasonal items, and test electrical/mechanical products to maintain production flow. Separate toys, glass, and salvage; box items for shipment or storage; and assist with loading/unloading the Goodwill truck. Keep sets together, ensure quality control, and perform general housekeeping while adhering to safety standards. Transport goods to the sales floor and mark all outgoing items clearly. Work involves standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Must have good work habits, such as acceptable attitude and punctuality.
- Must respond appropriately to supervision.
- Must possess adequate physical endurance to work at industrial standards.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; push or pull.
- Must be able to occasionally sit, kneel, stoop, throw, turn and twist body.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
