Job Summary

Review and validate all borrower information in loan applications, including income, assets, appraisals, and titles. Submit files to the underwriting system, process loans in Encompass, and order third-party reports. Collect required documentation, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all necessary items are requested. Maintain dialogue with Loan Officers, borrowers, lenders, and title companies while partnering on difficult transactions. Manage key dates, escalate errors, and report suspected fraud to Compliance. May manage a multi-state pipeline of loans.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of processing experience
Working knowledge of Encompass, Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector, GUS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), and internet applications
Ability to adapt to changing environments, situations, and job responsibilities
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment from a remote workplace
Ability to prioritize complex diversified responsibilities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills to balance workload and meet deadlines
Must be willing to assist teammates and build strong relationships with Loan Officers and Operations team members to achieve closing goals
