Processing Technician - MI (Split Shift)

Job Summary
Monitor cannabis material during processing phases and conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards. Maintain electronic and paper logs for accurate weighing, tracking, and reporting of all inventory while inputting data to manage production flow. Clean production areas to prevent cross-contamination and follow appropriate quality control measures and in-process checks. Collaborate with the Infusion team to uphold production efficiency, cleanliness, and accurate documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance. Requires proficiency in MS Office and METRC, ability to perform basic math for batch formulation, and physical capability to lift 50 pounds. Full-time schedule with rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays; respiratory fit test required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience with a focus on inventory tracking, product safety, consumer safety, and maintaining high product quality
- Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Office and METRC, among other systems
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for proper batch formulation
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Respiratory Fit Test
- Completion of a two-part evaluation for respiratory clearance: Part 1: A written health questionnaire to evaluate your medical history and eligibility for respirator use
- Completion of a two-part evaluation for respiratory clearance: Part 2: A respiratory fit test to ensure proper fit and functionality of the equipment required for this position
- Comfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and other manufacturing conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
- Must be physically capable of sitting or standing for long periods or entire shifts
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- All candidates must be willing to submit to a background check to be considered for the position
