Job Summary
Supervise and lead the assigned area of the operations section to ensure safe and effective processing of human tissue grafts for transplantation. Manage a team with heavy lifting, continuous standing, and physical demands, while monitoring error control and reporting numbers accurately. Coordinate work around high magnetic circuits or fields where necessary, utilizing strong eye-hand coordination to solve problems and analyze issues. Develop and coach staff to help others reach their fullest potential. This role supports the manufacturing of musculoskeletal allografts for transplantation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience of musculoskeletal allograft processing
- Minimum of one-year prior team lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields
- Good eye-hand coordination skills
- Must be available for Sunday - Thursday 2300 - 0730
- Must be able to lift heavy items
- Must be able to stand continuously
- Drug free workplace requirement
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Certified Tissue Bank Specialist - CTBS certification
- Knowledge of processing anatomy
- Knowledge of sterile techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Demonstrated ability to report numbers accurately and monitor error control
