Job Summary
Unload raw product, load it into hoppers, and operate the peeler station while monitoring performance and managing hopper levels. Sort defective product and foreign materials, communicate with kettle operators, and operate conveyors and powered equipment safely. Monitor raw material quality, clear waste bins, sanitize equipment, and accurately fill out logs. Report equipment issues and use pallet jacks, forklifts, and stretch wrappers with provided training. Work Monday through Wednesday from 6:50pm to 7:00am in a warm, noisy environment. This role supports Dieffenbach's Snacks production team by ensuring consistent product flow and maintaining food safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a warm, noisy, fast-moving environment
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and stay active for 12 hours
- A focus on safety, cleanliness, and doing the job right
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with machinery or food production
- Forklift certification
- Willingness to be trained on forklifts
