Job Summary
Analyze, troubleshoot, and execute repair procedures for valves, UHT systems, tanks, and pumps to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of emergency and preventive maintenance repairs while monitoring inventory of valve parts and kits. Train and support other technicians on processing work procedures, document outcomes, and communicate with leadership regarding equipment issues and maintenance schedules. Uphold safety practices, report food safety problems, and initiate corrective actions to support SQF certification. Covers breaks and staffing needs as assigned, gaining competence with online circuits and facility hookups.
Required Qualifications
- A GED or a High School Diploma
- Technical training or an electrical/mechanical technician degree
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience within the mechanical field
- Minimum 1 year experience in the repair and rebuild of valves, pumps, and UHT Components
- Minimum 1 year experience in processing
- Experience with programmable logic controllers, instruments, and controls
- N1 6pm-630am rotating weekend schedule
