Processing Manager

Job Summary
Lead and motivate a processing team to ensure pipeline metrics and quality goals are met in mortgage lending. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Mortgage Lending products, policies, processes, and required documentation. Enforce risk management policies, procedures, controls and compliance regulations. Monitor processing trends and provide coaching and training. Build relationships with other operational departments and sales; act as escalation point between operations and sales. Resolve client-service related problems and recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teammates to meet department goals. Manage day-to-day operations of assigned processors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and related training
- Minimum five years of banking or financial services experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients
- Strong analytical skills
- Detail oriented and goal driven
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as mortgage automated processing systems and Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
