Processing Manager

Job Summary
Lead and oversee liquid egg processing operations, including supervising supervisors and technicians; coordinate processing, food safety, sanitation, and maintenance; drive improvements in processing methods, equipment performance, and product quality; manage cross-functional collaboration with production and FSQ to ensure GMP/SQF adherence; develop schedules to optimize productive time and minimize overtime; maintain preventive maintenance programs and participate in SQF audits; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety programs; collaborate with USDA/FSIS inspectors and address performance issues through progressive discipline; requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, strong leadership, bilingual (Spanish a plus), and experience in egg processing and SOPs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Technology or a related field
- A lesser degree of education might be accepted with equivalent experience
- Ability to train employees
- Knowledge of egg grading process
- Knowledge of all functions in the breaking room
- OSHA regulations and their application
- Polished and flexible oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required
- Ability to conceive and write standard operating procedures
