Job Summary
Install, startup, and shutdown equipment while performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting for production line maintenance. Carry out logistics duties including receiving goods, preparing items for production orders, and loading bulk products for shipment. Maintain strict compliance with safety policies, OSHA requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and integrated management systems covering food safety and environmental regulations. Work with blending systems, pumps, valves, and homogenizers in a food and beverage manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school, GED, or equivalent education
- 2 years of experience working in a maintenance role in various environments
- Able to understand and safely use various hand tools and power tools to carry out and complete maintenance tasks
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical components such as (but not limited to) VFD's motor starters, temperature sensor
- Industrial electrical up to 480 VACS
- Controls & instrumentations
- PLC/software &hardware experience
- Pneumatics & Hydraulic experience
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)
- Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours)
Desired Qualifications
- Trade or vocational school education
- Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility
- Experience with blending systems, pumps, valves and think tops
- Preferred Industrial electrical up to 480 VACS, Controls, PLC/software &hardware experience
- Experience with homogenizers , sterilizers & Hydraulics
- BRC/HACCP, Environment, Sustainability
