Job Summary
Schedule and direct maintenance workers across processing specialties, overseeing planning of work orders to keep the plant safe, reliable, and efficient. Operate and service all processing machines and conveyors, completing daily preventative maintenance and managing start-ups to ensure proper operating conditions. Supervise team members by training, directing, and enforcing safety protocols including OSHA guidelines, HACCP, and GMPs. Monitor workflow to maximize machine output, prevent rework, and ensure products meet specifications and labeling requirements. Maintain accurate records of production and materials while continuously suggesting improvements to support activities.

- Worked in General Maintenance
- Worked in a Fabrication Shop
- Plumbing knowledge
- Electrician knowledge
- Worked as a Welder
- Worked as a Supervisor
- Heating and Air Conditioning knowledge
- Must be able to lift 50#
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

- Ensure proper staffing is maintained, including interviewing and hiring new team members
- Implement and monitor training for new hires and continuing training of current team members
- Maintain attendance records, counsel team members with poor attendance, and follow up with coaching/discipline as appropriate
- Appraise work performance: conduct appropriate reviews for team members; give coaching/discipline as appropriate in a consistent and timely manner
- Provide appropriate interpretation of company policies and safety procedures
- Must be available for 4th shift: Thursday - Sunday from 4:30 PM to 5:00 AM
- Will need to enter production environment where team members are exposed to moderate cold (35-55 degrees) and loud noise levels
