Processing Lead

Job Summary
Processing Lead oversees a team of Loan Processors and Loan Setup personnel to meet SLAs, train and develop staff, monitor pipelines for data integrity and regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements across Conventional, Government, Bond, Jumbo and Non-QM mortgage guidelines. Collaborates with Sales, Disclosing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-Closing to ensure accurate, compliant mortgage processing while traveling as needed between the United States and Mexico. Requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; English is required with bilingual Spanish a plus. Remote work option available with an on-site location in Las Vegas, NV.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience in Mortgage Processing, or a related field
- Previous experience as a Mortgage Processing Lead, Manager, or similar leadership role preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Conventional, Government, Bond, Jumbo and Non-QM mortgage guidelines
- Strong understanding of federal and state mortgage lending laws, compliance obligations, and industry standards
- Experience implementing Service Level Agreement (SLA) driven workflows and performance management programs
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage lending sales and operations workflows
- Advanced experience with mortgage loan origination systems (e.g., Encompass)
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple files and priorities at once
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Travel: As needed travel internationally between United States and Mexico to meet business needs
- Language: English required, Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) desired
