Job Summary
Support and oversee daily eBay operations, ensuring we work backwards from collector needs and maintain the highest standards. Monitor team performance and report on metrics such as exceptions tracking, inbound/outbound mail, and accuracy to provide data for informed decisions. Seek feedback early and often, listen to team members, resolve conflicts with empathy, and escalate issues when necessary. Set clear team goals with supervisors and eBay leadership, recognize high performance, and provide coaching that fosters continuous learning. Put challenges on the table transparently to address issues before they escalate, collaborate with partners for seamless operations, and facilitate huddles while managing inventory and cycle counts. Lead by example, champion company policies including safety and security, and report to the Supervisor, eBay.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in a hands-on role in collectibles grading or authentication, fragile item handling, mail processing or shipping, or as an art or antiques handler or technician or similar position
- High school diploma or equivalent education background
- Ability to bend neck/waist, twist neck/waist, and squat
- Ability to type, use a mouse, and sit and look at a computer potentially for long periods of time
- Ability to use a sharp blade and retrieve submissions from packaging
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions
- Ability to receive, and in some departments inspect, submissions
- Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm schedule
- Santa Ana, CA office location
