Job Summary
Processing Lead (1st Shift) at Lactalis Midwest Yogurt site in Murfreesboro, TN. Direct shift processing output on the manufacturing floor, lead operators, own data entry accuracy, troubleshoot downtime, drive project initiatives (Project Blackhat), oversee SAP data entry for production/inventory/BOM, monitor schedules, supervise and develop the team, ensure food safety and regulatory compliance (GMP/HACCP/SQF/FSSC), coordinate with Maintenance/Quality/Warehouse/Planning, review production metrics and waste reduction opportunities, conduct shift handoffs, ensure sampling/testing per Lactalis GMP initiative, maintain production documentation, and champion continuous improvement and safe operations. Requires 5+ years in manufacturing, leadership experience, GMP/HACCP/SQF/FSSC knowledge, strong communication, and ability to support a 24/7 operation with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably food processing)
- Experience leading a manufacturing team
- Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP, SQF, FSSC and regulatory compliance
- Experience with processing equipment and testing methodologies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to flex work schedule to support 24/7 operations (weekends/holidays/on-call)
- SAP data entry expertise and BOM accuracy
