Job Summary
Develop advanced assembly processes for new automotive projects; design processes based on customer requirements including system layout, cycle time study, and process flow; coordinate with Sales and Estimating to ensure accuracy of processes and related documents; utilize AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint to create processes and supporting documents; perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 5 + years of experience in Advanced Processing of automotive assembly machinery and tooling.
- Ability to calculate cycle time utilizing industry standard timing.
- Familiar with MIG weld and Spot weld process preferred.
- Ability to create system layout utilizing AutoCAD, preferred by not required.
- Above average computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience in mechanical or machinery design preferred but not required.
