Job Summary
Coordinate daily production activities to meet business objectives by establishing clear responsibilities, staffing the team, and scheduling temporary service employees. Coach, develop, and motivate direct reports while holding employees accountable to standards and Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure safety compliance, conduct accident investigations, and administer corrective actions for deviations or mechanical malfunctions. Maintain accurate reporting information, including End of Run Reports, and champion communication with other departments to support successful operations. Follow GMPs, SOPs, and LOTO protocols while ensuring the master sanitation program is followed. Work long periods standing, walking frequently, and lifting light loads in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 8 years experience in manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Good Computer knowledge
- Communication skills
- Good math skills including working with fractions, percents and decimals
- Good reading, writing, and communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Basic to intermediate understanding of engineering, electronics, and pneumatics
- Ability to work well with people
- The ability to tactfully coordinate the activities of others without having supervisory authority over them
- Standing: Long periods (a minimum of 6 hours)
- Sitting: Occasionally for short periods
- Walking: Frequently
- Bending: Occasionally
- Lifting: Light (less than 30 lbs) infrequently
- Carrying: Light (30-50 lbs) infrequently distance – 100 ft
- Pushing/Pulling: under 75 lbs without assistance infrequently
